It's been a while!

Well well well...fancy meeting you here. I kid, but really it has been a while. This summer has pretty much been insane, but insane in a good way. Like traveling, eating good food and catching up with old friends. ;-) Now that summer is winding down and school is about to start my focus is on drinking new wines and playing video games. Hey it's important to have a plan! Speaking of video games I actually got on my Druid last night. She is the one who started it all. Unlike Yunna, my Druid Lealu took a long time to level. They both have awesome gear and are tough as nails so I guess it's all about playing smart. ;-) I have about 3 more weeks to hit 85!

As far as traveling goes mostly it has been to Jerome and Sedona area. I must say Jerome is quickly becoming my favorite place ever. This last weekend we stayed at the Connor Hotel. I don't know how much I believe in ghost stories but I swear I woke up no less than 10 times thinking I heard something in our room. Either that or I just sleep like shit when I have been drinking. The food is also amazing in Jerome. We ate at Grapes and Quince. Both had fantastic food and great bars. I attempted a spicy Margarita but I don't do tequila so G ended up drinking both his and mine and I just stuck with the local brews that they have on tap. Shopping was good as always. I purchased two more bottles of Maynards wine and a cool cork board made from actual Caduceus corks for my kitchen.  I bought a lot more than that but I wont bore you to tears with descriptions of hand beaded purses and locally roasted coffee. One of G's favorite stops was the kaleidoscope shop. They staff is super fun and plays with the merchandise as much as the visitors always eager to point out their favorites. Mine is a kaleidoscope pointed at a gem encrusted elephant music box that you shine a flashlight at. My inner girly girl was doing backflips. So sparkly! The bed and breakfast was nice last time but it was also nice to stay in the middle of town and really get to experience things. The Connor does a great job with the interior design too. Two words. Brass headboard. OOooooohhhhh I totally just went there! Overall it has been a good summer. Too bad in a few weeks it will be over and I will be pretty much living on campus. At least I talked My husband into taking math with me. ;-)
